Second Day Of Shooting

There are a lot of interesting and breathtaking stuff you can find in Dubai, but surely the weather ain't one. Our second shooting day was consisted of four exterior scenes. Filming from 7 am in the morning and staying in a 50 Degrees area for four straight hours might bring up many troubles we, as a group, need to face and handle. Our schedule should start at 9 am as planned, but suprisingly the main actor called me at 4:30 in the morning to inform me that he might have to leave at 10 am because of a sudden flight that he should attend. That is exactly when I woke up all the group members, all our actors including the extras, and the villa owner to inform them that our shooting should start two hours earlier than our first schedule to help us having more time in preparing our set, and gathering all individuals needed infront of the camera. I felt lucky when all the people I mentioned gave me a positive feedback and woke up ready to complete what we started in a professional way. After reaching on set at our new timing, we shot our scenes carefully and tried to ignore the heat that was affecting our actors negatively by serving cold refreshments. After four straight hours, we were done of our shooting and production phase. In the meantime, we are getting ready for our third and last phase which is post production. Therefore, all the group members should help sharing ideas with our editor so we can finalize our project and hand it in. Each day, each set, and in each phase, you manage to learn from your mistakes and gain each experience needed for developing your skills.
