Starting Our Stage 2 Journey
I'm on in a new journey, countinuing my studies and accomplishing more projects. Whatever level you reach related to your career studies, you can always develop yourself to be better. Knowledge is a sea which we should keep exploring in, We can never stop learning from our mistakes and getting to higher levels. After a long break, serious work started all over again. For our Studio class, we got divided into groups and we were asked to film a mockumentary that would show the importance of the process of pre production. We came up with an idea of doing a mockumentary about a filming staff that are trying to shoot a stunt scene that ended up being a fail because of lack of preparations. We will interview the director, producer, DOP and the sound operator to show the arguments that are going through the shooting that was again caused by pre production problems. I took the director role for this project because I would like to visualize my ideas on the camera and organize my team to accomplish something we would be proud of at the end. By helping and sharing ideas between me and the Director Of Photography, we would be able to shoot amazing scenes the way we prepared. My job as a director would be simpilized as the head of the project. I'll be responsible for every little detail that the lens would shoot. Also, I'm responsable of making sure that all our crew, props, and wardobe are there before our shooting. It is a great experience that I will be looking at carefully because it'll help me develop my portfolio and learn from each mistake that I'll face during this trimester. In the other hand, I'll be taking CIU210 which will introduce us to international media and will also help us for our bloggings and developing our portfolio and our CV as well. As an overall, I'm looking straight forward to focus on this trimester and to guarantee a good grade for both CIU and Studio courses. I'll try to maintain my energy to be able to work both courses off, I'll also be looking at focusing on a schedule to organize my time and to prevent from facing pressure times that would cause a chaos towards my studies.
